24% + VAT (28.8%) on all lots up to a hammer price of £39,999
16% + VAT (19.2%) on all lots of a hammer price £40,000 and over
12% + VAT (14.4%) on all lots of a hammer price £50,000 and over
8% + VAT (9.6%) on all lots of a hammer price £60,000 and over

Other Charges
-surcharge for registering and bidding on but not through Rogers Jones Live which is accessed via bidding with Rogers Jones Live is FREE

-Droite de Suite / Artist’s Resale Right charge of 4% on original artwork by EEA based artists on hammer prices of 1000 euros or over (GBP equivalent)

The percentages are as follows:
4%          up to €50,000
3%          between €50,000.01 and 200,000
1%          between €200,000.01 and 350,000
0.5%       between €350,000.01 and 500,000
0.25%     in excess of €500,000

No room bidding in this auction
Please note: office and saleroom are closed on auction day, phone calls will not be answered on auction day. Urgent auction day contact by email online ( but please make contact prior to auction day.

Telephone Bidding - by return of form supplied by us only. Return required by 1pm, 5 November. Telephone lines limited and first come first served.
Commission bidding - on our website or by form supplied by us only. Return required by 4pm, 5 November.


Payment by bank transfer only to be settled within 3 working days. We do not accept payment in person at the saleroom. Payment can be taken from debit cards registered on the saleroom.


Collection is by appointment only as of Monday, 8 November. After payment, please call the office 02920 708125. Unfortunately, we cannot permit collections on auction days.

Collection arrangements must be made by Friday, 12 November, storage charges will apply following this date.


Packing & Shipping
Please note we do not offer an ‘in-house’ P&P service in our Cardiff saleroom; however we are able to post small items in jiffy type bags only – this is done at the purchaser’s risk and cost with no insurance liability on the sender’s part (please enquire prior to placing bids).

We suggest contacting our local Mailboxes / 02921 322157 for insured carriage. Successful bidders will be offered the services of Auction Logistics. Further information on the delivery service provided by Auction Logistics is available via the following link :

Transport to Colwyn Bay Saleroom
We can deliver purchased items to our Colwyn Bay auction-rooms free of charge ON ONE OCCASION and only for items which have been paid for fully prior to delivery. For the date of this ONE OFF delivery please enquire on 02920 708125.

We can also deliver purchased items to our Carmarthen office free of charge. For larger lots, there may be a small carriage chair (please enquire prior to placing bids).
